Wednesday thoughts

How is your Wednesday going?

I can tell you how mine is...

Today I went to class. And in one of my classes my professor, who's a cool 70-something-year-old professor decided to make an example out of me. He walks in and says that we have about a minute left until class starts. I'm at my desk texting, typing my thumbs away.

"What is the cell phone policy?" He asked the class.

I look up and a few other voice all say the same, "out of sight." Then he nods his head in agreement.

I put my head down and go back to texting because on my phone it says 11:44 and class starts at 11:45. Next thing I know, I see a tap at my desk. *tap, tap, tap* (mind you I sit near the front to look like a good student). Conversation follows:

"no cell phones," the professor said.

"I know," I replied.

"Put it away," he said.

"I will," I said with some sas to imply that I will put it away when I'm ready to put it away.

*He walks away*

So my classmates start looking at me like oh snap, he's trippin. And I'm looking back at them like wtf.

I understand that it's class time and cell phones are a distraction to the learning environment BUT class hadn't started yet and I wasn't finished with my text. My phone didn't ring, buzz or cause a hinderence to the learning environment therefore he's trippin.

That sort of pissed me off.

Following that, I went through my routine Monday/Wednesday sdchedule. Home for a nap, do some online work for my internship, and head back to campus to work out.

I started working out last week because I can't go a whole year without working out. I'm already disappointed in myself, I can't imagine what I'd feel like if the summer came and I wasn't ready.

I do a lot of self-evaluating. That's important. Always ask yourself what your priorities are. It helps you stay in line with your goals and aspirations. Self-evaluation is what made me realize I need to work out. I've also been fixing my resume and looking or post-grad internships for when I graduate in May.

For dinner, I had a Caesar salad with salmon and lobster bisque soup from Newks. It's like a deli restaurant.

Here's what it looks like

That's about all I have to share today. If you got this far, thanks for walking through my world for a moment. Comment below and share with me how your Wednesday has been. Can't wait for the weekend, the weeks been long already.

Live life,

Jordan
