We are officially halfway through the year and all I can think of is, have I accomplished any of the goals I've set for 2017? More importantly, if I haven't reached them, am I taking the right steps to reach the goal by the end of 2017?
Fulfilling your purpose
A life without goals can sometimes feel purposeless. By all means, I am not a preacher or motivational speaker, but I can help with achieving the things you want in life. Here are some of the steps I take to pick a goal.
What concerns me?
School, jobs, my weight, learning a new skill, spending habits
Pick two.
Write down the steps it takes to achieve them.
Create a plan
If you want to lose weight, what will you cut out of your diet?
There are so many helpful tools on social media like Pinterest, Instagram, blogs that can help you and give ideas.
Check in weekly to see if you're on track.
It is so easy to let days go by without thinking of whatever goals you set out to achieve. I told myself I would read six books by the end of 2017. I have read one... and it barely counts because it's a book of poems. Still, a book is a book. I need to jump on the ball. Whether it's reading 20 pages of a book a day, or reading for an hour. I'm holding myself to it and you should, too!
Get it done!
What are your goals that you've set out for yourself this year? Have you achieved them? The queen of procrastination is here to tell you, get on it!
May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans! -Psalm 20:4
Be a boss, take control and work work work work work work.
Live life,
