Back to school season

Is it that time again, already? I can't believe I won't be getting first day of school jitters or have the luxury of lugging a backpack across campus. It's bittersweet.
Back to school means back to business. While I may not be in the classroom anymore (for now... shhh), I still know a thing or two about gearing up for the year. I will not lie to you, I'm a procrastinator. I never had all of my school supplies the first week, or the last week either, but hey! I got it done somehow.
The best way to get through the school year is to stay organized. No one likes showing up to class and realizing there's a test. There were days in high school that I showed up to class not even knowing there was a test coming up, but there I sat with the scantron on my desk. Oh, good times. There were also days I was mentally prepared to skip the test. *Cough cough*, not sure if I can attend 3rd period today, I need to be checked out of school by 10:30 A.M. puh-lease, mom.
All in all, I love school. Here are some ways to make sure you love it just as much as I do. I'm also thinking of doing a back2school give-away. If you think I should, click the heart at the bottom of this post to let me know "YES" please do it! It'll be something cool, I promise.
In the meantime, check out these back-to-school hacks. It'll keep you ahead of the game and on top of your very busy life.
Write down all major dates from your syllabus into your planner.
for example - due dates, major projects, quizzes, homework, online homework dates.
Create a study habit.
for example - do homework and read right after school/extra curriculars instead of waiting until the end of the day.
Do it with friends.
for example - friends who succeed together make for better friends. It's always easier to get things done with company.
All of this will save you from major breakdowns and cramming. Maybe.
Live life,
Jordan
